So I'm standing in the parking lot of a convenience store getting ready to take a picture of the beautifully refurbished Bent's County Courthouse across the street when along comes this photo bomber. Really Mr. Beer Truck? Hello, I'm trying to take a picture here! Ok then. I'll move.
It's All Headin' to Texas Good!

Brenda, It's rare that the big truck look good. LOL. I love the old mansion. Old home look so big...but they have the tiniest closets. :):) Cause way back when those homes were built, people didn't own lots of clothes like we do today. Blessings to you and your family, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting tidbit I learned about turn-of-the-century homes and the reason some didn't even have closets is because every closet, pantry, 'water closet' was considered a room and consequently charged higher property taxes. So when you hear 'a 39 room mansion', that included all of the above. (Which is the case with our local touring mansion, Rosemont Museum.
DeleteWhat a beautiful building! It's much prettier than the truck. :)
