"I've got Sunshine...on a snowy day"! Yep! My pretty yellow flowers have arrived EVEN in the midst of ANOTHER snowstorm. HA! they say to Mr. Winter...Spring is coming whether you like it or not!
Funny, this time of year. Here we are just a couple days until it is officially Spring and it is snowing. What's up with that, anyway!? Henry Van Dyke hit the nail on the head when he said, "The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month."
As we really do enter into this beautiful Springtime, I'd like to share my heart in a prayer:
Thank you, Father, that simply for our pleasure you care about the smallest details--a cute yellow bud of a flower, the little chipmunk family skittering about, even the squirrel who is right now eagerly anticipating the day I plant my Petunias! (Let the games begin!) Help us to be so mindful of You in these details.
Here we are celebrating yet another Easter. The resurrection of our Savior and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Oh, without Him we are nothing! Just as You are Ever-Present, let us be as much or even more aware of your Presence in our daily walk with You than we are during this Easter season.
It's All ~ HE HAS RISEN ~ Good!
No snow here, but it was a cloudy, chilly, breezy day. Not quite Winter, not quite Spring just yet....On the brink of changing, though.....
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good day. God will guide if you'll let Him.....
Love, hugs, and prayers,
Diane
Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI think the yellow flowers in the snow makes for a very pretty picture. An unusual picture, but beautiful.
I hope you have a good week.
This truly is my favorite Holiday (Easter) because we celebrate the risen Lord. I really appreciated your post. Glad you have received tender mercies of chipmunks, squirrels and flowers. It really is a reminder of who's in charge.
ReplyDeleteLove that picture!!

Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteWell it has been in the 70's here in Tennessee but stormy tonight, but I got to wear my cropped pants today. Woohoo!!
Hugs,
LeAnn :)
I don't have any snow, but I don't have flowers either. I love the contrast of that image.
