Great News!

I just had to share the great news about my nephew, David.

He had his PET scan done today. This, after going thru 2 rounds of chemotherapy. The spot(s) on his lungs are gone and the other's around the original site on his neck and in some lymph nodes have shrunk. His first diagnosis was very grim with a 10% chance of survival. The Dr. is hopeful that, with continued chemo, this can quite possibly be beat.

I am so grateful for all of you who have lifted David up in your prayers not knowing us except thru blogland. Thank you so much. I would ask that continued prayers still be lifted up for him as he still has a long road to walk. Please pray that he'll be encouraged and see beyond the pain he suffers due to the rigorous chemo sessions, which is normal, and realize that he has a great life ahead and many who love and need him, including his 1 year old son.

For more detailed medical information, please visit Reva's blog (David's mom).

It's All WE'RE GOING TO BEAT THIS YET Good!
