Baby It's Cold Outside

You know it's GoshDarn cold when you step outside, inhale, and you feel your boogies crackling.

We woke up this morning to 13 degrees below zero.

THIRTEEN BELOW!

Wind chill--minus 20.

My
niece's thermometer registered 20 below.

Now, I'm normally a cup-half-full kinda gal. But when my daughter asked if it was getting warmer when the temp got up to a whoppin' 10 below, I just replied--with a cup-half-empty attitude--NO it's not warmer, it's just not as stinkin' cold.

Seriously, my cup runneth (or should I say freezeth) over!

It's All~global warming? you've Got to be kidding me~Good!

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog. Last week we were saying "snow"! By Monday we were using the air conditioner again! Now today it is 37 outside.

    Crazy Texas weather!

  6. It's in the 40's-50's here today with rain off and on. So tell me again why I'm planning on moving to CO next year?

It's so funny, my word verification word right now is "state."

  8. You be careful in weather like that! Those are dangerous temps!

I am going to be a good friend and NOT tell you what the temperature is here in South Alabama :)

The next few dyas when it hit 10* I told Steve "hey, were having a heat wave". lol
Well it felt like it, compared to boggie crackling weather.

  10. Yup. This is why I left Colorado and moved to Arizona. I don't need that stinkin' cold anymore - especially with my old, arthritic body! LOL I've been complaining because it's been bone chilling cold here - around 10 degrees at night. I'd hate to have it any colder!!

Take care, stay warm and God bless ~ Julie

  11. That's just insanely cold. We hit the 20s and I'm bundled up for the arctic.

Eh, who am I kidding? I bundle for the arctic if we hit the 40s.

  13. Ditto what Jennifer said, only replace South Alabama with South Mississippi! I tend to cry when it gets in the 50's! I know...right? LOL!

  14. Thanks Brenda for checking out my photos. We had so much fun that day. Michael, my youngest is in some of them. He is the one on the top as the three crazy guys are coming out of the slide. It looks like the slide is giving birth. LOL! He has on a Northern Az. sweatshirt and the other two are a friend and family of the Chaddocks. Hope you are defrosting from the cold! Diana

  15. Whew! I love the cold weather we're having here, but it's balmy compared to where you are! Of course, that's just Colorado for you! The seasons are June, July, and Winter!!
