1. Enjoying beautiful southeastern Colorado weather with unusually warm-er temps. Warm enough to be able to get out and take a walk now and then. I’m not one to get out there and walk if its cold enough to make my eyes water. I know. I’m a weenie!
2. Actually getting five full days of school done with my daughter. Since this school year started, my MIL has had some medical issues that require us to take her to her Dr. appointments (40 miles one way). Those have sometimes been one or two a week. The beauty of homeschooling is that work can be done anywhere, so I’m not complaining. But it is nice to not have to go anywhere and get caught up on any loose ends, including everything else home related. {Clean undies anyone?}
3. Getting a handle of the business side of running our business. I’ve got the basics down, got a few sales tax quarters under my belt. Work is good for which I thank God for.
4. Enjoying listening to my composer/pianist brother, Jack Franklin Wise, on here while I am writing. He just sent over the link this morning. I’m so proud of him.
5. Looking forward to a nice afternoon with my husband and daughter. Heading into Pueblo for the grocery run, but it’s sure nice when Sunny can break away from his busy schedule for a little down time with us. Who doesn’t like hanging with their best friend?
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Oh, how I love Colorado! We went there for Spring Break a few years ago and I'm dying to go back!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying some mild weather. You must be proud of your brother. That's something I wish I had learned -- to play the piano. But to compose, too? Wow!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead.
How about when it's cold enough to make your eyes water and THEN freeze the tears into icicles on your FACE?!?
ReplyDeleteI love listening to piano music. How special that you know the composer! It's been chilly up here in the Denver area, but supposed to be nicer this weekend. Hope so!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the recap of your busy lives.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about how nice is it to have weeks where you don't have to go anywhere. Even though I'm not homeschooling, I get so much more done at home when I don't have to go here and there.
ReplyDeleteIt makes my brain hurt just to think about dealing with business tax. Kudos to you!
Glad you all got some time to hang out together!
Glad you got those days at home to catch up. That's great that a trip to the grocery store is like a date! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda and welcome to FFF! So nice to "meet" you and have you join us. Love the name of your blog, btw!
ReplyDeleteYour Colorado weather sounds a lot like our Southern Alberta weather. We've had a few of those cold enough to make your eyes run days, although today is absolutely gorgeous, above freezing temps with tons of sunshine!
Sounds like you have a really full life with family, homeschooling and your own business.
I can relate to homeschooling and scheduling. It's always a challenge when we have a lot of appointments or errands, but I'm thankful for a flexible schedule.
ReplyDeleteYay for grocery shopping with the whole family!
I homeschooled my children and loved the relaxed schedule especially the years I was helping my parents through their last months of life.
ReplyDeleteColorado is a beautiful state--a little cold for me in the winter. I'm a true weather wimp.
Have a great weekend!
