I've been tagged by both Reva and Amber to answer eight questions about myself. Since they both tagged me, I'm going to pick four from each. I'm also supposed to tag 8 other people and have them answer 8 questions, but I think I'm going to be a party-pooper and pass. I know, that's not the rules. If any of you want to continue the meme, feel free to answer the same questions I picked. How's that?

Numero Uno: What is your favorite quote and why?

My favorite quote is the one I have under my header:

"Right is right even if no one's doing it, and wrong is wrong even if everyone's doing it."

It's so easy for me to be a go-with-the-flow kind of gal, don't rock the boat. But sometimes going with the flow takes me away from what I know in my heart is the right thing to do.

Ok, I already messed up and answered one of Amber's question to her. Sheesh!

Numero Dos:

If you had to choose one favorite sweet thing what would it be?

Easy-peasy! Dark Chocolate.

Numero Tres:

If you had a million dollars handed to you what is the first thing you would BUY?

Unfortunately I would have to say I would 'buy' myself completely out of debt.

Numero Quatro:

What is your favorite memory of a childhood game or activity you enjoyed?

My favorite game as a kiddo was summer nights playing "Ditch 'em" with my brothers and sister and neighborhood friends. Ditch 'em was basically hide and seek, why we called it that I don't know. But we played around our entire block in the dark. It wasn't scary running all over in the dark because it was familiar and safe territory. We did irritate the dog out of some of our elderly neighbors as we'd sneak thru their well-manicured yards. Others secretly wished they were a lot younger so they could join in the fun! Ah, back in the day!

Numero Cinco:

Jeans or sweats?

Jeans

Numero Six (how the heck do you spell six in Spanish? I'm having a brain fart).

If you could do one thing in life over what would it be?

Learn to use money more wisely. Where was Dave Ramsey when we needed him?
{Funny thing, the other day I was talking to my bank's customer service rep on the phone. When we were done she asked me if I'd like to apply for a interest-free credit card to which I replied very politely, "No thanks, Dave Ramsey won't let me!" That felt good!}

Numero Seven (can't spell this one either):

What book or movie could you watch over and over and why?

My all-time favorite movie is You've Got Mail. "I wanted it to be you...I wanted it to be you so badly!" Love that movie!

Numero Ocho:

Have you ever shot a gun and have you ever been hunting? (That's two questions, Reva):

Yes and yes. The BB gun I shot into the ground that ricocheted and hit my little brother in the knee. No damage done. A .22 that brought down a flea-infested rabbit. (Hey, don't laugh until you've brought down your own 'silly wabbit'!)
Hunting a few times growing up. Saved the big stuff for Dad and the uncles, didn't want to show them up! BWAAAAAH! It was fun skinning the deer my dad would get. And he makes the very best venizon steak and gravy on toast. Yum!

Ok, as Bugs would say (may he rest in peace):

That's All Folks!

It's All Right is Right Good!

  4. I did this a couple of weeks ago to different questions. Enjoyed your answers! I love chocolate but not dark or white.

I don't think I could have been a pioneer woman -- I couldn't take the skinning or gutting/cleaning without getting thoroughly grossed out. Even dealing with some raw meats from the store grosses me out sometimes.

  5. Fun answers - good solution --

I've been tagged, too, but don't know when I'll be able to answer the questions - I'm doing a series on our trip to Maine and it's going to take awhile.

  6. I would get out of debt too. As far as my one sweet thing, it would be cookies. That way I could have many many many variations :)
