Have you ever had one of those moments when you do something that you just have to laugh at yourself and thank God no one else was looking?
For the past few weeks I have randomly been hearing a clicking noise in my house. I hear it in the bedroom when I get up. I hear as I’m walking through the living room and on into the bathroom. Sometimes I hear the clicking just in the morning and other times I’ll hear it throughout the day. Then there will be a day or two I won’t hear it at all. All of it so random.
I guessed it was just some kind of cricket or other noisy insect that makes its noise by rubbing its legs together.
SO! Yesterday I heard it again and decided I was going to get to the bottom of this. I walked across the bedroom and heard it…click, click, click. Then I stopped. No noise. I walked back…click, click. Then I stopped. It stopped. I continued into the living room…click. The same thing. It would stop when I stopped. Then it dawned on me that the clicking was following me wherever I went. What on earth? As I walked into the kitchen I could hear the clicking louder.
Then I looked down…
There it was…
It was the metal tips on my drawstring shorts clicking against each other as I walked!!!
It’s All Gotta Laugh At Yourself Good!
