The Knee Party

Liberals, conservatives, democrats, republicans, independents etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. These protesters, those picketers, them rally-ers etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. MSN, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX--say it with me--etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
Given the political unrest our nation is experiencing, I wanted to remind everyone that this party has been going on for centuries.

You are cordially invited to:

The Knee Party
2 Chron. 7:14
(If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.)

Time: 24/7

Location: your closet--Matthew 6:6
(But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.)

  6. Oh Putz, you crack me up! Cute as buttons...thanks, I'll accept that compliment.
You are welcome here and entitled to you opinions Putz, although this was not meant to be a post debating politics.
So I won't go there except to say that prayer crosses all affiliations, lines, borders. And done with humility can touch even the most unreachable hearts. God's love is most important.
    Love ya, Putz!

  10. I love the "knee party" idea! that scripture is one of my favorite and one I've turned to many times. makes me think also of Casting Crowns "What If My People Pray" I am so sick of all the mud slinging, blaming, wish they would forget what party they belong to and decide what is best for the people.
